Captivating Cloak

This plain cloak is actually a gateway to a pocket plane where time doesn’t progress. As an action, you can throw the cloak open with dramatic flair and choose a target within 30 feet to attempt a DC 17 Will saving throw. On a failure, the cloak sucks them into the pocket plane and traps them there. A depiction of the trapped creature appears stitched onto the cloak and remains there until the creature is released. While trapped, the creature is unconscious and time does not pass for them. On a success, the creature is immune to the cloak’s effects for 24 hours.
The cloak can only hold one creature at a time. You can use an action while wearing the cloak to release a trapped creature into an unoccupied space within 30 feet of you. If you trap another creature while one is already trapped by the cloak, the cloak releases the already trapped creature into the nearest unoccupied space.
Each day at dawn, a trapped creature automatically reattempts a DC 17 Will saving throw and is released into the nearest unoccupied space on a success.

This plain cloak is actually a gateway to a pocket plane where time doesn’t progress. When you Activate the cloak, which requires throwing it open with dramatic flair, you can choose a target within 30 feet to make a DC 20 Will saving throw.
- Success The target is immune to the cloak’s effects for 24 hours.
- Failure The target is sucked into the cloak’s pocket plane and trapped there. A depiction of the target appears stitched onto the cloak and remains there until the target is released. While trapped, the target is unconscious and time does not pass for them. The target automatically reattempts its saving throw during your daily preparations each day and is released into the nearest unoccupied space on a success.
- Critical Failure As failure, but the target can’t reattempt its saving throw.
The cloak can only hold one creature at a time. You can Activate the cloak to release a trapped creature into an unoccupied space within 30 feet of you. If you trap another creature while one is already trapped by the cloak, the cloak releases the already trapped creature into the nearest unoccupied space.
