This metal censer bowl is shaped like a small brazier with steel legs molded to look like a roaring fire. You can use an action while touching the censer to expend a spell slot without casting a spell, instead directing your magic to light the censer for 1 minute. The censer makes fires burn more intensely within 30 feet of it. Any creature that takes fire damage in the area while the censer is lit takes an additional 1d6 fire damage per level of the expended spell slot—1d6 fire damage for a level 1 spell slot up to 9d6 fire damage for a level 9 spell slot. The censer can’t be used this way again until the next dawn.

Any creature or object that takes fire damage within 30 feet of the censer while the censer is lit takes an additional 1d4 persistent fire damage per rank of the expended spell slot—1d4 persistent fire damage for a rank 1 spell slot up to 10d4 persistent fire damage for a rank 10 spell slot.
