Dragon scales cover every surface of this crown, making the roaring dragon head sculpted at the front appear almost real. While wearing the coronet, you gain the ability to understand, speak, and write the Draconic language. You also gain a +1 item bonus to saves against dragon breath attacks, including Dragon Breath abilities on creatures that aren’t dragons and the dragon breath spell. Dragons find the coronet offensive however, starting any interaction with you with an attitude one step lower than they otherwise would, and you take a –1 item penalty to Diplomacy checks against dragons.
