This pouch contains thorn vine seeds, with the thorn vine depicted on the seal stamped upon the cloth. Thorn vines are fast-sprouting magical plants that don’t grow so densely as to impede movement, but they’re covered with sharp thorns that cut creatures who don’t move carefully through them. You can use an action to throw the pouch at a space within 30 feet of you. A patch of thorn vines sprouts in a 15-foot radius circle where it lands, lasting for one day before shriveling away. Each time a creature moves into a space containing thorn vines, they take no damage if they treat the space as difficult terrain, or they take 1d8 magical slashing damage if they don’t.

Activate—Drop Seeds [two-actions] (manipulate) Frequency once per day; Effect You Stride, emptying the pouch of seeds onto the spaces you move through. At the start of your next turn, thorn vines grow in those spaces and a 5-foot emanation from those spaces. These vines persist for 24 hours. Creatures can choose how carefully they move into spaces containing thorn vines, taking damage when they move through them quickly. Creatures take no damage if they treat the spaces as greater difficult terrain, 2d6 slashing damage plus 1d6 persistent bleed damage for each space they treat as difficult terrain, and 4d6 slashing damage plus 2d6 persistent bleed damage for each space they treat as normal terrain.
